Welcome to Temp Chief. These terms govern your use of the Temp Chief platform and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. About Temp Chief

Temp Chief is an early access platform that helps construction workers in the United Kingdom build a verified professional profile. Our goal is to make it simpler for skilled tradespeople to demonstrate their qualifications, experience, and right to work — so they're ready when opportunities arise.

During early access, the platform is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed as we improve the service. We'll do our best to keep you informed of significant changes.

2. Eligibility

To use Temp Chief, you must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom. You must provide accurate, truthful information when creating your profile and submitting documents for verification.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@tempchief.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used in breach of these terms, including but not limited to accounts involved in fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform.

4. Verification

Temp Chief may request documents and information to verify your identity, qualifications, and right to work. Verification is carried out at our discretion and is not guaranteed. We may refuse or revoke verification if we have reason to believe that information provided is inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.

A verified status on Temp Chief is not a guarantee of employment, competence, or legal compliance. Employers and agencies should carry out their own checks as required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Submit fraudulent, forged, or stolen documents.
  • Upload abusive, offensive, or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than its intended function.

6. Early Access & Pricing

Temp Chief is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. We intend to offer a period of free access once the platform is fully live, subject to fair use. Pricing and access terms may change in the future, and we will give reasonable notice before any charges apply.

7. Intellectual Property

The Temp Chief name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Content you upload (such as your profile information and documents) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of operating the platform and providing our services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Temp Chief is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim (if any).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@tempchief.com. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms. We will notify you where practicable.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the platform. Your continued use of Temp Chief after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
